Grab a big bite of this cheesy spinach-mushroom omelette and let your mouth, heart and soul thank YOU for trying it
Ingredients required (For One Omelette)
Spinach (250 grams)
8-10 Mushrooms
2 Eggs
One Cheese Slice (We have used AMUL cheese slice)
1-2 tablespoon cheese spread (We have used AMUL plain cheese spread)
1 Chopped Onion
2 Chopped Green Chilly
1-2 pinch black pepper powder
Salt (As per taste)
Butter toast/ Bacon/ Hash browns (For sides)
Method of Preparation
Add 2 tablespoon oil/butter in a pan and add chopped mushrooms and spinach
Saute and cook well (adding a pinch of salt is optional at this point)
Take out the mixture on a plate
Crack 2 eggs in a bowl and add one small finely chopped onion & 2 chopped green chilly
Season with a pinch a black pepper powder and some salt (as per taste)
Mix well
Heat the same pan and add some butter/oil
Pour in the egg mixture. Cover and cook for a minute (Don't flip the omelette)
Cut a cheese slice into two parts and add them on to one half of the omelette
Add the spinach and mushroom mixture and fold it
Take out on a plate and add a heaping spoonful of cheese spread on hot omelette (so that the cheese softens before spreading)
Add a few butter toasts and bacon/hash browns as sides
Spread the cheese all over the upper half of omelette and ENJOY with a big nice bite
