Spinach Mushroom Cheese Omelette

Grab a big bite of this cheesy spinach-mushroom omelette and let your mouth, heart and soul thank YOU for trying it



Ingredients required (For One Omelette)

  • Spinach (250 grams)

  • 8-10 Mushrooms

  • 2 Eggs

  • One Cheese Slice (We have used AMUL cheese slice)

  • 1-2 tablespoon cheese spread (We have used AMUL plain cheese spread)

  • 1 Chopped Onion

  • 2 Chopped Green Chilly

  • 1-2 pinch black pepper powder

  • Salt (As per taste)

  • Butter toast/ Bacon/ Hash browns (For sides)


Method of Preparation

  • Add 2 tablespoon oil/butter in a pan and add chopped mushrooms and spinach

  • Saute and cook well (adding a pinch of salt is optional at this point)

  • Take out the mixture on a plate


  • Crack 2 eggs in a bowl and add one small finely chopped onion & 2 chopped green chilly

  • Season with a pinch a black pepper powder and some salt (as per taste)

  • Mix well

  • Heat the same pan and add some butter/oil

  • Pour in the egg mixture. Cover and cook for a minute (Don't flip the omelette)

  • Cut a cheese slice into two parts and add them on to one half of the omelette

  • Add the spinach and mushroom mixture and fold it

  • Take out on a plate and add a heaping spoonful of cheese spread on hot omelette (so that the cheese softens before spreading)

  • Add a few butter toasts and bacon/hash browns as sides

  • Spread the cheese all over the upper half of omelette and ENJOY with a big nice bite
