which is suitable for any meal time

which originated from a state, but enjoyed by the world
PAV BHAJI
Ingredients required
1 Onion
2 Tomatoes
4 Boiled Potatoes
1 Capsicum
Cauliflower
Fresh/Frozen Green Peas (1/2 cup)
Pav
Butter
Refined Oil
Ginger Garlic Paste
Lemon
Turmeric powder
Kashmiri Red Chilly powder
Pav Bhaji Masala
Green Coriander (optional for garnish)
Method of Preparation
Finely chop all the vegetables. Use a chopper to ease the process.
Heat a pan and add 2-3 tablespoon oil. This will help prevent burning of butter.
Add 2 tablespoon butter into the pan.
Add chopped onion and 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste. Saute well till it becomes slightly brown.
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chilly powder & 2 tablespoon pav bhaji masala (use Kashmiri red chilly powder to get a perfect red color).
Mix well and add all the chopped vegetables.
Mix and add water to boil all the veggies nicely.
Add salt as per taste. Cover and let it boil nicely.
Mash it smoothly with a masher when the vegetables have become soft.
Squeeze in 1/4 of a lemon and mix well.
Slit the pav (bun) into half
Heat a tawa, add some butter and toast the pav till crispy brown from both sides (you can also add some pav bhaji masala in the butter to give your pav some bhaji flavor).
Serve hot bhaji and top up with some more butter. Garnish with finely chopped onion and green coriander.
