Ingredients required
Sabudana (Soaked Overnight)
Potatoes (Boiled and Grated)
Green Chilly (Chopped)
Coriander (Finely Chopped)
Salt (As per Taste)
Cumin Powder
Chilly Flakes
Oil (To grease palms and to fry)
Tangy Imli Chutney (For second type of serving)
Homemade Yogurt (For second type of serving)
Method of Preparation
In a bowl, mix one part soaked sabudana and two parts grated potatoes
Add chopped coriander and green chilly
Put some salt (to taste), cumin powder, chilly flakes and mix everything well
Grease your palms with oil
Take a handful of mixture and shape it into round cutlets
Heat oil in a pan and add all the cutlets to it
Fry from both the sides till golden brown
Serving (Type 1)
Serve with coriander chutney
Serving (Type 2 : Chaat Version)
Top the tikki with homemade yogurt, coriander chutney and imli chutney
Garnish with chopped coriander
