Well preserved, well deserved and giving you a flavorful experience - little sweet & little spicy
So, let us try some instant, simple yet amazingly delicious pickles
Beetroot Vinegar
Method of Preparation
Peel and cut a beetroot into thick strips
Add them into a clean and dry jar
Pour some white vinegar
Let it soak for 2-3 hours before consuming
NOTE - Do not keep it in sun light
TIP - This vinegar dipped beetroot is perfect for wraps, rolls and sandwiches (especially shwarma wrap)
Lemon Chilly Pickle
Method of Preparation
Slit green chilly into half (also cut through length, if you are using big ones)
Add them to a clean and dry jar
Sprinkle half teaspoon salt
Squeeze in lemons to fill at least 3/4 of the chilly
Consume when chilly changes it's color to faded green
Spicy Cucumber
Method of Preparation
Cut the end, rub and remove the bitterness of a cucumber
Cut it into small pieces and add them to a bowl
Add 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing), 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder and 1 teaspoon red chilly powder
Squeeze in half a lemon and mix well
Transfer to a jar and consume after 30 minutes
This can be stored in refrigerator for up to a week
