Dhokle Wali Mirch - Tangy Mustard Chilly Instant Pickle


Instant Chilly Pickle with a perfect blend of taste with very basic ingredients


Ingredients required

  • Big Green Chilly (8-10)

  • Turmeric Powder (Haldi)

  • Mustard Seeds (Rai)

  • Asafoetida (Hing)

  • Fennel Powder (Sauf)

  • Coriander Powder (Dhaniya)

  • Lemon Juice

  • Oil

  • Salt


Method of Preparation

  • Clean and slit chilly into half

  • Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and some salt (as per taste). Mix well.

  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan

  • Add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds (rai) & let them splutter (cover to avoid any mess)

  • Switch off the flame & let it cool down

  • Add 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing), 1/4 teaspoon mix of fennel powder (sauf) & coriander powder (dhaniya).

  • Add 2 tablespoon lemon juice and salt (as per taste).Mix well.

  • Add this mixture into the chilly and mix well.

Eat & Enjoy after an hour
