Cheesy & Crispy Potato Patty for the "Foodie U" and lettuce & veggies to keep your conscience calm
Ingredients required
Boiled Potatoes (2 Large)
1/2 Cup boiled mixed veggies (green peas, green beans & carrots)
Bread crumbs
Corn Flour
Cheese slices
Onion
Tomato
Lettuce leaves
Chilly flakes
Green chilly
Black pepper powder
Tomato ketch up
Mayonnaise/Mustard dressing/Caesar dressing or any dressing of your choice
Salt
Burger buns
Oil to fry
Method of Preparation
Mash 2 boiled potatoes (you can also grate them, if you don't like lumps in your patty)
Add half cup boiled and mixed veggies
Add salt and black pepper powder (as per taste)
Add 2 finely chopped green chilly and 1/2 teaspoon chilly flakes (add chilly flakes, only if you want your patty spicy)
Add 1 teaspoon corn flour and 3 tablespoon bread crumbs.
Mix well to make a nicely bonded mixture and shape it into thick, round and flat patties.
Deep or shallow fry the patties till they become crispy and brown from both sides.
Cut burger buns into half and layer the lower bun with your favorite dressing (or combination of dressings)
Add onion and tomato slices and some lettuce leaves on it.
Transfer fried patty from oil to a hot tawa (flat pan) and add a cheese slice on top of it. Let it melt slightly, so that it grabs the patty.
Add this cheese topped patty on the bun and spread some tomato ketch up.
Cover up with the top bun and ENJOY a nice big cheesy bite.
