Here are a few must try, things to do while you are on your golden journey
Book a variety of stays throughout your trip and do start with a stay in any heritage hotel. Everyone is super enthusiastic while the trip is just starting. Initial stay at a heritage hotel will give you are the must-click pictures and short videos for your social media.

Hear and experience the magic of Tanot Mata Temple and Longewala Border. Tanot was attacked by the Pakistan Army during the India-Pakistan War of 1965 during which 3,000 bombs were fired towards the temple. However, the bombs either missed their target or did not explode. Do enjoy eating at the last cafe of India towards this border, The Longewala Cafe and also visit the war memorial & war audio visual theatre.
Visiting any Dunes village is a must to experience all the desert adventure. Out of all, Sam village is the most famous (commonly known as Sam Sand Dunes). Book your stay in a camp with camel safari, jeep desert safari and folk performance. You can even stay overnight in desert. (Watch my vlog to get some tips on how to book a perfect camp stay)
There are many forts in Jaisalmer, including the Jaisalmer Fort itself. Visit a few, as per your time and capacity to enjoy panoramic city views and some amazing photographs.
Visit the government authorized Dr. Bhang's "The Bhang Shop" (near Jaisalmer Fort) for amazing, yummy and beautiful lassi, cookies and chocolates. You can get everything either with or with bhaang. They have variations in bhaang content also, like mild, medium, strong and super strong. Dr. Bhaang will guide you wisely.
Indulge in some home décor, furnishing and souvenir shopping at Jaisalmer Fort.
Now let me tell you about the star attraction from my trip. Must must must stay at Mala ki Dhani, an authentic and peaceful village stay, away from crowd and city lights. This place is listed on Airbnb. (Watch my vlog to know more about this place)
